Custom Development
Using high quality, object-oriented software engineering practices, Optricity's team precisely models the customer's juncture optimization opportunity and then fits the model for use by the customer.

One of the key differentiators behind our solutions is the toolkit of mathematical techniques we employ. We believe that 80% of supply chain opportunities can be solved using a prudent combination of the following set of core functions: Routing, Assignment, Sequencing, Scheduling, and Queuing (RASSQ™). Our internal RASSQ optimization engines consist of these and other functions and typically provide the basis for our supply chain optimization solutions. Coupled with decades of domain experience, our RASSQ technology enables us to develop useful custom optimization solutions where other techniques fail.

The Optricity team believes customer centric solutions provide a better and more fruitful approach to supply chain optimization than does a “divorced” black box method. In the black box scenario, data and constraints must be fed in using native representation, after which the result must be deciphered and validated. Optricity's object-oriented modeling approach enables easier identification of multiple embedded optimization problems. By fitting several different modules into one solution, the Optricity developers exploit the problem structure and enhance solution performance and usefulness of results.
