Exhibition, inventory optimization leadership roundtable, and new product announcement scheduled to take place at the conference, SCOPE West, August 19 – 21, in Las Vegas

Research Triangle Park, N.C., July 28, 2008 – Optricity Corporation, a provider of mathematically advanced, supply chain optimization software plans to exhibit at the Supply Chain Operations Private Exhibition (SCOPE West) this August in Las Vegas, NV.  Optricity president and CEO, Dan Basmajian    , will also lead a discussion at the conference centering on innovative inventory optimization strategies and technologies for the distribution center. In addition to the exhibition and roundtable, Optricity will unveil its newest optimization product at the conference.  “SCOPE is a great forum for us to make this important announcement; we want to target executives focused on increased value and return on supply chain optimization investment.  We’re excited to bring to market our second product that aids distribution center optimization,” said Sheila Benny    , vice president of Marketing, Optricity. “The product is built on the same underlying, advanced mathematics that our first product, OptiSlotÔ, employs.  Proprietary RASSQÔ technology (routing, assignment, scheduling, sequencing, and queuing) forms the basis for our optimization software.”

Optricity has been pleased with the reception of its advanced slotting tool, OptiSlot, which has earned early adopter enthusiasm in the marketplace.  The patent-pending OptiSlot promises to set the industry standard for the next generation, best-of-breed slotting technology.  OptiSlot integrates with existing WMS, SCM, and SCE systems.

The new product, to be announced at SCOPE, will be available to end users after the Conference.
